Dear Parent/Guardians:
Medicine Hat Public School Division is transitioning out of the business of providing "Before and After School Care". We have advertised seeking a private operator, or operators, to take over the operation of our current programs.
Our school division is proud to support "Before and After School Care" in our schools and so it is important to know that this change is
not about ending the service. Instead, we are seeking community members or agencies whose core focus is providing quality childcare outside of the school day.
We understand what convenient and excellent care means to families and so the staff of Medicine Hat Public School Division are working with our partners in Human Services to ensure that there is no gap in service when the operation of our "Before and After School Care" programs transitions to our new partner(s). Before the transition occurs we will communicate with you and ensure that your child's school connects you to the new provider. Our goal is to ensure as seamless a transition as possible.
